Trip Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive in Phnom Penh. Transfer from the airport to your hotel. Overnight in Phnom Penh at a comfortable riverside hotel.

Day 2 Depart Phnom Penh by dirtbike on the ferry boat across the Mekong River, then travel north along a quiet dirt road following the river to Kompong Cham, stopping for lunch before continuing along the river route to Kratie. Overnight at a riverside hotel in Kratie town.

Day 3 In the morning, travel along the Mekong to discover the home of the Mekong River Dolphins at Kampi. Go on a boat trip through the dolphin pools and see the rare dolphins up close. After the boat trip, continue by dirtbike to Stung Treng at the confluence of the Mekong and Sekong Rivers. Overnight at a comfortable riverside hotel.

Day 4 Leave the dirtbikes in town and travel north along the Mekong to the village of O Sway near the Lao border and begin a full-day kayaking trip down river through remote flooded forests of Cambodia's amazing Ramsar Wetlands. Many varieties of birds live in these forests. Picnic lunch en route provided. Return to Stung Treng accommodations in the evening.

Day 5 Get back on the dirtbikes and travel down river via different scenic routes to the riverside town of Kompong Cham. Overnight at a comfortable riverside hotel.

Day 6 Visit the twin temple hills of Phnom Bros Phnom Srei near Kompong Cham, then continue on through the rubber plantations to the town of Skoun, famous for its fired tarantulas. Ride South before crossing by ferry to the Silk Islands for a swim at a sandy island beach and a visit to a silk weaving village before continuing on to Phnom Penh. Overnight at a comfortable riverside hotel.

Day 7 Transfer to Phnom Penh International Airport or onward destination.
